About Us

Tasteful Things is a specialty food store located in the heart of the Sebago Lake Region with stores in Bridgton and Naples, Maine.  The first Tasteful Things was opened in Bridgton in 2015 by Nate & Carole Sunday with Nate running the day-to-day operations. Nate & Carole always had a vision of one day owning a business of something special. Both Nate & Carole love to cook (and bake), and Nate especially loves to garden and is always looking to use fresh herbs and special ingredients. Tasteful Things was born! Once Bridgton was established, the Naples store was opened in 2020.  A year that all of us will always remember.

So, what do we offer? First, our foundation is in certified Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and Balsamic vinegar coming from Modena Italy, birthplace of true balsamic vinegars. Nate has become a ESAO (Olive Oil School of Spain) certified Olive Oil taster, using this ability to purchase only the very freshest and correct Olive Oils from around the world. We trust our suppliers for honesty and accuracy when purchasing these products and often have the products tested according to Italian standards. We offer full tasting in Bridgton and limited tasting in Naples seasonally.

We are also very proud to carry Maine Made products such as Beast Feast (Bridgton), Vena’s Fizz House (Westbrook), Sap Hound (Brownfield), Maine Homestead (Lyman), Olde Haven Farm (Chelsea), Naturally Jammin (Limington), Maine Morning Micro Roasters (Bridgton), Human Nature Soap (New Gloucester), Captain Mowatts (Portland), Shipwreck Galley Spirited Salsa (Presque Isle) and more.

Tasteful Things has many kitchen gadgets and beautiful olive wood bowls, tools, and platters for entertaining.  Also, we have interesting BBQ and grilling rubs, sauces, and marinades. Plenty of spices and salts that you can’t find in your local grocery store. We try to find unusual foods for your enjoyment.
